The Parish Council has recently commissioned a new website https://stisted-pc.gov.uk/ This is to improve compliance with accessibility and to provide greater security. We will gradually remove some of the content and menus from this site with the rest remaining open for the Stisted Historical Archive Please visit our new website where you can subscribe so that you receive emailed copies of all our Parish Council Meeting Agendas if you wish

A120 Marks Farm Roundabout – closure overnight 20 September

Important roadwork information A120 Marks Farm Roundabout – road marking renewals Highways plan to carry out renewal of road markings on the A120 Marks Farm Roundabout. Once complete, drivers will benefit from a safer, better-defined road surface. They plan to complete this work over one night on Friday 20 September. We will work between 8pm to 6am, weather permitting. Braintree District Council Local Plan – Call for Sites

BDC have announced their local plan review for 2024 and released details of the sites put forward in the Stisted Parish for consideration for future housing needs. There are 6 sites in Stisted, 1 shared with Bradwell and Pattiswick and 2 shared with Cressing Parish.
